On the evening of Monday, October 17, 2011, at around 8:40 p.m., the witness is in front of the front door of his home when he sees a group of three white luminous points, with an apparent size equal to five times that of the stars, cross the sky from the South toward the West. The three lights move in a grouped manner, in a triangle, and seem to move apart from each other before regrouping and disappearing at the Western horizon. The speed of movement of the whole was comparable to that of shooting stars, and the observation lasted less than 5 seconds. Of good consistency and of low to even medium strangeness, this observation case brings to mind two fairly frequent phenomena: Thai lanterns, but the observation duration is very short (unless the witness misjudged the observation duration), or an atmospheric re-entry (fireball, meteorite fall) more consistent with the observation duration, but the multiplicity of objects is rare. For lack of further investigation allowing a decision between the two hypotheses, this case is provisionally classified as C.
