Most of this site is about finding the people who saw what you saw. This page is the opposite: accounts that resemble almost nothing else in the record, from people who were, as far as we can tell, alone in it.
Here is why. A pattern that turns out to be real has to start as a handful of people who were not believed and had nobody to compare notes with. If a genuinely new kind of experience is being reported right now, it is on this page and it looks like noise. Keeping these visible is cheap, and the alternative is only ever finding what we already have names for.
It is also, honestly, where most of the mistakes will be: misremembered dates, one-off confusions, and things with a perfectly good explanation nobody has offered yet. Both readings are allowed here.
