A low hum in Bouches-du-Rh�ne, France
On April 27, 1978, at around 10 p.m., a motorist observed three blinking red lights 100 meters above the ground. At first, unable to make out any precise shape from which these lights might come, the witness noted that they were moving slowly from east to west. A faint humming sound was heard by the witness. During the observation, one of the lights descended closer to the ground and inspected it with what seemed to be a spotlight. The other two lights remained stationary. The witness was then able to see a dome lit up in different colors. The local press reported other testimonies about this phenomenon, which remains unexplained.
