Red lights in Manche, France

On Saturday, June 19, 2010 at around 11:30 PM, a witness near a village festival is intrigued by a red light varying in intensity and by an object with white lights that the witness does not recognize. The observation lasts between 5 and 10 minutes. The witness thought of one or more helicopters, the observed lights having remained static throughout the observation, but the absence of noise and the slow, atypical blinking of the lights do not fit with this hypothesis. A tethered balloon fitted with lights could also explain the observation, especially if it was part of the fireworks display also observed. Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to verify this second hypothesis. A few balloons at altitude, lit by the last rays of the sun, which had set a little over an hour earlier, could have produced a similar spectacle. Of medium strangeness due to the static aspect and the light pulsation rhythm of the UAP, and of good consistency thanks to a precise description on the part of the witness, this observation case unfortunately cannot be firmly concluded in the absence of further investigation. This case is classified C for lack of independent testimonies and cross-checks.
