Two witnesses observe, several evenings in a row, a luminous phenomenon in the sky toward the west-northwest. This fixed light sets slowly. They take photographs. This observation case owes its strangeness not to the observed phenomenon but to the interpretation the witnesses made of it, due to the line shape seen by the witnesses, and the photo taken from the bottom of the building. Indeed, the object observed in the sky has all the characteristics of the planet Venus. The photograph taken from the ground is indeed strange at first glance; but the witness photographed a streetlamp, not Venus: once down at ground level, Venus was hidden by the wooded hill, and only the light of the public lighting reaches him through the foliage.
