Moving in formation in Dr�me, France

On February 6, 2017 at around 8:45 PM, a female driver noticed a very intense light in the sky. When she got home, the witness continued to see this light, stationary. She observed it with binoculars. The observation lasted 45 minutes, then the witness went to friends' house. The next evening around 7:45 PM, the witness again observed the same phenomenon, located a bit higher in the sky than the first time. Only one testimony was collected. The description of this observation is characteristic of an observation of a celestial body: - the observation duration is long (45 minutes) and the UAP moves little or not at all in the sky; - the UAP appeared two evenings in a row and with a sufficiently identical appearance and position for the witness to report it as the same phenomenon: "I noticed in the sky the same very bright object observed yesterday." This observation turns out to be a misidentification with the planet Venus, which is indeed present, but not in the northwest as the witness said, but in the west, slightly southwest. Analysis of the witness's photograph showing the UAP's position relative to the terrain makes it possible to pinpoint this position and thereby the correspondence with Venus's position. Furthermore, the witness's indication of the UAP's position the next day one hour earlier is also consistent with Venus's position (higher and further south). This is reconstructed in the attached document. Venus is brighter than the stars. The colors can be varied and changing due to atmospheric effects because Venus is often near the horizon and therefore seen through a thick layer of atmosphere.
