A deep, droning sounds, pulsating. Similar to the sound of a bass or an idling engine. I usually sleep with wax earplugs to reduce noise disturbance. However, when the Hum occurs, I hear the hum louder when I use the plugs - so I can't. Additionally, the Hum has caused great stress and distress.
