Rumbling in Wales- Newport - NP20 5QP

Loud rumbling / car engine on constantly but changes from low to high etc- vibrations going through my ears and my body and nobody else in my house can hear it but me. I started hearing it since 2017. I’m currently having hearing therapy and I’ve been told to download a calm app and listen to telly on a quieter volume to help me not be a lazy listener but for me I don’t feel that’s going to solve the loud noises I hear at night. Makes me feel crazy in a way. I’ve heard white noise can help but I’m not actually sure what to do.

What they reported

Where: Indoors

Symptoms: Ear discomfort (pain, fullness, throbbing), Headache, Insomnia, Nausea, Sense of vibration, Anxiety

Changes with weather: I’ve never thought about that so not sure I just hear it all the time at night

What stood out: rumbling

Low frequency, rumbling hum, almost sounds like the noise of a large distant war plane I first noticed this sound when I was about half way through pregnancy with my first (and only) child.
