In the night of August 23 to 24, 2015, witnesses are intrigued by the presence in the Parisian sky of an intense red glow. They independently report their observation. The first witness begins his observation on August 23, 2015 from 11:25 PM: he observes a very bright red glow in the Parisian sky toward the Southeast. This light seems permanent (with a change in intensity) and moves slightly in the sky before returning to its initial position. Very intrigued, the witness takes photographs with his smartphone and observes the phenomenon until 1:00 AM before going to bed (see the investigation report). A second witness on August 24, 2015 at 12:58 AM observes, for 10 minutes, a fire-red colored ball located to the Northwest above the Parisian buildings. The witness has time to take three photographs with a mobile phone. Having gone back inside to wake his wife, the object will have disappeared when he returns to the window (see the investigation report). The testimonies are consistent, with sufficient data provided by the witnesses and usable. Several photographs of the UAP were taken and could be used for the analysis, leading to fruitful cross-checks. In conclusion, the physical and dynamic characteristics of the UAP observed and photographed by the witnesses resemble those of a powerful red laser used by a private individual in Paris, from the top of a building, and whose light spot produced by its impact on the low cloud/mist layer resembles the UAP. The ambient brightness conditions surrounding the witnesses during their observation and their taking of photos prevent the beam of this laser from being visible, both to the naked eye and to the photographic sensor, except after enhancement of one of the photographs. The strangeness of this case is ultimately quite low and is mainly caused by the luminous intensity of the UAP and its persistence for more than an hour and a half. The two testimonies are the subject of an independent analysis thanks to the photographs and the consistent testimonies (see the investigation reports). This case is to be classified as "B" as a probable observation of the light spot on the cloud or mist cover of a powerful red laser, projected from the top of one of the buildings in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
