Red lights in Haute-Garonne, France
On December 1, 2012 at 5:00 p.m., a witness observed in the Parisian sky the presence of a gray stationary object. The witness describes the object as triangular but also as a spinning top with "a sharp point at the nose and a cross shape in the center." No noise, no smoke were noticed. The object then moves slowly as if carried by the wind, always at the same altitude. The witness then sees several flashing red lights aligned in the center of the device. During his observation he takes a photograph. No other testimony will be collected.
Given the objective elements collected (see the investigation report), namely:
- Object moving in the direction of the wind.
- Shape and color compatible with existing models of novelty balloons.
- Size and distance estimates compatible.
We can conclude that the UAP observed and photographed by the witness may be a novelty balloon model shaped like a fighter jet, moving in the wind.
This case is to be classified as "B" as a probable observation of a novelty balloon equipped with LEDs.
