Following a documentary seen on the Internet, a testimony was reported to us in November 2008 concerning an observation made on June 30, 2007.
A motorist driving on the A410 motorway toward Annecy observed at 9:43 a.m. an object suspended in the air. Dark in color and with several faces, the object moved very slowly while oscillating. A photograph was taken while driving, with a mobile phone: according to the witness, it does not capture the color and shape of the observed object.
By comparing this observation with the footage of another case (Annemasse (74), also on the same date but in the late morning), the witness formally identified the object, which turned out to be a tetrahedral weather balloon used by the National Weather Service or by scientists.
