On August 6, 1981, around 1 a.m., a person takes photographs of the starry sky from the parking lot of the Col de Joux pass. The weather is clear, without clouds, but in the distance a few heat lightning flashes occasionally appear. Their camera is set on a tripod, and each photo is taken with an exposure time of one minute and thirty seconds.
