Recent declaration (05/12/2014) of an old observation.
On July 28, 2012 at 11 p.m., a witness observes from his window a luminous point with colors (red/yellow/green) that intrigues him. This point is motionless. On the photographs taken after a few seconds of observation, he notes the presence of 3 points forming a triangle. The object disappears, then 4 points reappear. The observation lasts only a few minutes in a clear sky. No other testimony is collected.
The witness observes and photographs a point-like luminous phenomenon twice, a few seconds apart.
In the direction indicated by the witness, Arcturus, Saturn, and Mars are visible. By carefully examining photograph No. 2 and comparing it to the environment of the star Arcturus, there is no doubt that it is indeed this celestial body that was photographed (see the investigation report). The appearance and disappearance of the star is explained by the presence of clouds that evening. The three visible points (instead of a single light for Arcturus) on photograph No. 1 are explainable by the instability of the device used handheld. The color variation can be explained by atmospheric turbulence.
