On April 22, 2017 at 11:41 PM, a witness observed in the sky the presence of 3 lights aligned horizontally, with the arrival a few minutes later of 2 additional lights in a vertical position, the whole forming an "L" shape. No movement, displacement, or change in light intensity was noticed during the entire 45-minute observation. The witness photographed the UAP. The witness made a somewhat similar observation on April 18, 2017. He attached two photographs taken during that observation, which may help in understanding the April 22 case. No other testimony was collected. The description of the UAP has characteristics of several prosaic explanatory hypotheses, which are a priori to be ruled out according to certain details of the observation (see the investigation report). However, it was unfortunately not possible to verify or clarify certain key points, such as the exact duration of the observation (did it really last 45 minutes, when only photos taken a few seconds apart are available), or whether the window was open or closed during the different phases of the observation. Despite several follow-ups, the witness did not respond to the questions asked. Moreover, the second phase of the observation, with the arrival of 2 additional luminous points, badly lacks precision, even though it has a strange character. The case has a certain strangeness. But the single testimony and especially the imprecision on key points, coupled with the witness's failure to respond to requests for clarification, give the testimony a weak consistency that is not capable of validating the strange character of the observation. The case is classified as C, testimony not usable due to lack of data.
