Low frequency resonant drone around 20/30hz, with uniniform oscillations. The oscillations are like a rotor cabinet but are not uniformly organised. Where I live is very rural and as far as I can tell there are no real possible environmental sources. I'm very used to "placing" sounds because I mix music, my gut feeling when placing the hum is that it's not internal (coming from me). I went outside to see if the hum was audible outside and it was. My house is a stone house on the side of a valley, I expected to be able to place the source based on it reflecting off the side of my house, or it being louder on one side of my house to the other (because the building would block the sound waves). This did not occur, leading me to believe the sound was most likely traveling through vibrations in the ground, rather than the air.
