A low steady hum I mainly hear hum when I wake in middle of the night and go in my living room. It seems localized or centralized to my living room and I have made sure all appliances, electronic devices, heating and air conditioning are OFF, no movement from roof vent turbines. Do not hear it in other parts of the house nor outside. Can almost walk into and out of hum in a 20 foot area. Mainly hear when I wake up in middle of the night around 3 am and walk into or sit in my living room, but have heard it during the day same location. Have heard it 3-4 days in a row this week. Prior to this winter, last heard 6 months to a year ago.

I hear the hum just in one location, my home. When I travel somewhere I don't hear it. I use ear plugs to isolate myself from traffic sounds but then I hear the hum better. I hear it at nigh…
