A low hum, like a truck or plane in the distance that passes by but never does. This just started happening, but it's exactly how other people have described it: a low hum that disappears when other noises compete or when I move to another part of the house, but not detectable outside. There's a lot of noise in the country this time of year with critters, crickets, and frogs but this is nothing like I've heard before. My ears feel pressure, and they almost ache.
