Very low pitch vibrational rumbling. Like a distant train passing or large truck idling outside. Sometimes I can feel a vibration when the sound is the loudest. It seems as if the hum is coming from the ground. If I put my ear against the wall of my house, it is louder, as if the house is a conductor. I can also hear the hum while sitting in my car in the middle of a forest, far away from any civilization. Most people can hear it if I point it out to them.
