Low vibration wavelike hum but I cannot hear it at all outdoors I have followed your instructions to try and determine whether the sound is indoors or outdoors and the results point to indoors but I've also switched off all electrical power indoors at night and the noise still persists. I've read on your page on detecting environmental noise with basic tools that even internal noise could be generated from an outside source. I have to mention too that around the time I first noticed the noise a district heating system was built in our village and we did connect to it at the time. It doesn't however explain why at times I don't hear the hum as it's always in operation
What they reported
First noticed: 2009
Pitch: 82 Hz
Loudest: During the night
Where: Indoors
Symptoms: Insomnia, Sense of vibration
Changes with weather: I think it does but cannot be sure as it's only just returned in the last month and the weather has been good
What stood out: a low hum
