A deep rumble like a train or semi. It's almost painful to hear I did not notice the noise until I was home alone or in a very quiet house ( everyone sleeping or otherwise occupied). If I listen too long, it hurts my ears. I did have a lot of ear infections when I was a child and now my ears are very sensitive to cold and noise
