Haute-Vienne, France · 1979-11-21 · from the GEIPAN archive
On November 21, 1979, a witness saw, about 100 meters from her, an object fitted with several lights, including three red ones and one orange one forming a diamond shape on the vertical plane. The orange light alternately replaced the red lights by rotating clockwise. Motionless and making no noise, the object hovered in the air. No particular odor came from the craft, which then disappeared toward the north, leaving a whitish smoke. Sheep penned 600 meters away showed great agitation. A second testimony was collected reporting the observation of red lights forming a diamond. No trace on the ground and no other information was collected on this phenomenon, which remains unexplained.
