Red lights in Tarn, France

On October 15, 1978 at around 6:50 p.m., several people aboard a vehicle observed two lights and a fixed red light above the trees at the edge of the road. Continuing on their way, they saw an object without being able to make out its precise shape, with several lights. No particular noise was heard during the observation of the object, which seemed stationary at an altitude of about 150 meters. By the time they stopped to get a better look, the object had disappeared, and only a red luminous point was still visible for a few moments. The object disappeared without noise and without smoke toward the West. A female passenger in another car would testify to having observed a flying object that intrigued her on the same day and on the same road between 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. No further details were collected on this phenomenon, for which we lack information.
