Red lights in Aude, France
At 11:30 PM, several people observe from the terrace of their home overlooking the town of Limoux the successive appearances of several red balls in the sky at intervals of a few minutes. No noise is heard during the slow passage under the clouds of these 7 balls in total.

The description of the phenomenon corresponds exactly to Thai lanterns. The date and time (Saturday late evening), the wind direction (from West to East) which allows lanterns launched near Limoux to be brought toward the observer, are all elements reinforcing this hypothesis.
