Red lights in Pyrnes-Orientales, France

On August 28, 1976 at around 4:30 a.m., a witness observed the passage of a luminous phenomenon in the overcast sky. A bright red ball at its center passed quickly and silently overhead and disappeared, hidden by the landscape. The dog accompanying the witness was frightened. This person subsequently saw a white glow in the shape of a half circle, motionless behind a curtain of trees, in the direction where the phenomenon had disappeared. No trace was found at the scene, and no other testimony was reported about this phenomenon, for which we lack information.

What stood out: red lights
