On January 28, 1980 at around 4:15 a.m., a witness driving a car saw a luminous object on his right. This spherical object was stationary about 40 meters above the ground and 150 meters from the witness. Orange in color, it emitted a strong light directed toward the sky. This object was itself contained within a larger and brighter circle. The witness continued on his way and noticed that the object seemed to follow him. No noise and no odor were noticed by the witness, who became frightened. The object disappeared shortly after into the landscape.
