Red lights in H�rault, France
On September 28, 2015 at 5:26 a.m., a witness outside observes for 5 seconds the silent passage in the sky of a red triangular shape (red rounded ends, the object itself being less bright than its ends). The UAP moves parallel to the horizon, in a straight-line motion, and disappears instantly into deep sky. Only one testimony is collected.
The witness observes a red triangle bounded by 3 bright red lights; it is possible that the triangular shape is a perception illusion (contour illusion), and that only the 3 lights are truly real.
The satellite pass data from Calsky indicates two satellites visible at the northeast horizon where the witness is observing: USA 16/NOSS 1-7A, and Lacrosse 5 Rocket.
There is indeed a 3rd satellite on the same trajectory: NOSS 6 (D), but it passes 10 minutes later.
One therefore cannot directly correlate the witness's observation with these 3 satellites, unless the Calsky modeling is imprecise. The red color would be surprising, but at low elevation, it would be conceivable due to the thickness of the atmosphere crossed.
One could also think of Thai lanterns moving south, pushed by the light north wind (see Météociel), but the day and time (Monday morning) seem poorly compatible with this hypothesis.
GEIPAN classifies this not-very-strange phenomenon in category C due to lack of information allowing confirmation or rejection of these hypotheses.
