On August 6, 2015 around 10 p.m., a witness looks very quickly through their roof window and sees a motionless gray triangle with orange-red lights at each end. The UAP leaves very quickly toward the West in a straight-line trajectory. No other testimony will be collected. This very brief observation describes a gray triangle with a light at each corner. This type of description often comes from a perception illusion called contour illusion or Gestalt (see the article on the psychology of form). It is highly likely that what the witness saw was only a set of bright points. Likewise, the departure of the phenomenon at "phenomenal speed" may correspond only to the lights going out. The origins can be diverse: Thai lanterns, airplanes, satellites. The observation is too brief, and the time window too wide to be able to conduct a reasonable investigation.
