Red lights in Eure-et-Loir, France
On May 31, 2015 at 12:15 AM, a witness observes a bright point moving from south to north in the sky. Very quickly, the witness sees more than ten white and red lights appear, moving silently. No other testimony has been collected.
The observation of series of red or white luminous shapes crossing the sky in a few minutes, on a weekend night, clearly suggests sky lanterns, probably released nearby at the end of a private party.
The movement is observed from south to north, which is consistent with the south-to-north wind recorded at Evreux (see the Meteociel report at Evreux on the day of the observation).
