A triangle shape in Alpes-Maritimes, France
On Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at around 9:25 a.m., two people on a beach are intrigued by the presence in the clear sky of a shape described first as triangular then round, made up of balls, every other one of which is luminous and blinking, and the other white or light gray and not blinking. The UAP then forms a straight line of 6 distinct objects that finally disappear at 10:10 a.m. while gaining altitude. No noise is heard during the movements in the sky. Only one testimony is collected.
Given the elements collected (see the investigation report), namely:
- the appearance, color, luminosity, and behavior of the UAP.
- the favorable weather conditions: sun present and transitional wind, variable and very weak, following the land breeze.
- the favorable summer period.
We can conclude that the UAP observed by the witnesses is certainly a set of balloons of the "Mylar" type, linked to each other, with high reflective power and tossed about by the changing wind.
This testimony is of good consistency: precise, but coming from a single witness and without photos. The observation is not very strange because the UAP is ultimately easily characterizable, both in its appearance and in its behavior.
This case is to be classified as "B" as a very probable observation of a cluster of "Mylar" balloons.
