Moving in formation in Bouches-du-Rh�ne, France
On October 26, 2014 at around 1:30 in the morning, a witness opening the gate of a residence was surprised by the silent north-south movement of an object shaped like an inverted "Y". No color, no blinking was noticed during the approximately 10 seconds of observation. The whole family present was able to observe the movement of this phenomenon, which was then lost from sight. Only one testimony was collected.
Given the objective elements collected in the investigation file (see the investigation report), we can conclude that the UAP observed by the witness could be mistaken for a flight of birds in formation. But the lack of information and verification cannot reasonably allow us to conclude with certainty.
This testimony proves to be of fairly average consistency since it is rather imprecise and lacks many details, all related by a single witness (who can certainly be corroborated by 2 other members of his family) and without a photo.
The observation is in fact not very strange because it is a UAP having an appearance (or shape) certainly uncommon, but possibly explainable, at least plausible in terms of shape, size, speed, trajectory, luminosity.
GEIPAN classifies this case as B, as a probable observation of a flight of large migratory birds.
