Returning to their home on April 13, 2013 at 12:43 AM, a couple observes in the clear sky the silent passage of three white-orange luminous points. The witness has time to take two videos. No other testimony was collected. The passage of luminous points in formation, in a straight line for a few minutes, during a weekend night evokes Thai lanterns. This hypothesis cannot be verified by comparison with wind direction alone, since it was highly variable at that time. It can however be noted that it was weak, and compatible with the relatively long duration of the observation (3 minutes) and a fairly slow passage speed, which allowed the witness to film the phenomenon: the video has entirely the usual appearance of this phenomenon: one sees a very luminous center and a red-orange crown. The weather report at Marignane indicates a weakening west wind at 11 PM on April 12: weather. On April 13 between 12 AM and 2 AM: weak, very unstable wind, from the North at 1 AM: weather.
