A triangle shape in Haute-Garonne, France

On September 14, 2012 at about 6:25 a.m., a witness observed for 5 seconds in a clear sky an object of blue color and triangular shape with bright points all around it. The stationary object seemed to suddenly fall and went out abruptly in the sky. No other testimony was collected. This observation does not resemble the most common misidentifications: - The sky chart reveals no notable celestial body toward the West that could have caused an illusion. - The hypothesis of a satellite or a group of satellites was also ruled out due to the absence of corresponding objects listed by the Calsky site. - At this very early hour, the hypothesis of a drone or recreational craft seems infinitely unlikely. - The description of the phenomenon is very far from the appearance of an airplane, although it is possible that an airplane was in the witness's field of vision at that hour in that direction. The Météociel report for Toulouse-Blagnac indicates a good westerly wind. It is above Montgiscard that airplanes preparing to land at Blagnac line up in the northwest axis of the Blagnac runway: an airplane head-on, before its turn toward the NW, could have presented itself as a set of bright points, only visible before the turn toward the NW (see map). This last hypothesis, on the edge of acceptability, too fragile, is not retained because it is not confirmed by other cross-checks (air traffic records, photos, another witness). GEIPAN classifies this case "C" due to lack of cross-checks.
