GEIPAN was contacted by email on July 7, 2010, by the witness, who briefly described an old observation case that occurred on February 3, 2009, between 7:00 PM and 7:15 PM. The witness, walking down a street, was intrigued by the passage of several oval-shaped, orange-colored lights that moved silently in a triangle formation. The witness lost sight of the phenomenon as it gradually moved away. Of fairly low strangeness at first reading (one immediately thinks of a release of Thai lanterns during festivities following the Chinese New Year, which began on January 29), this observation case turns out to be more complex, since the observed lights moved against the wind.
