On the RN12 between Jouars-Ponchartrain (78) and Garches (92), on October 26, 2011, around 7 p.m., a motorist and his son were intrigued by the presence in the sky of luminous points, either stationary or moving. A triangular craft was then spotted. It seems to us that the starting point of the observation (fixed, aligned luminous points while the witness was driving east on the RN12) can easily be explained by a misidentification of airplanes due to the heavy air traffic in the Ile-de-France region. The rest is much more complicated, especially since the description remains vague: a "triangular craft flashing red and white," then a luminous point with "vertical flashes, white only," crossing a portion of sky of 80 degrees in two seconds, evokes no usual explanation and constitutes the only truly strange elements of this observation case, for which we would have appreciated more details. We have also received no other similar testimony for this October 26, 2011, in the Paris region. Of low to medium strangeness, this observation case is too insubstantial to be firmly concluded. This case is classified C due to a lack of independent testimonies and cross-checks.
