On December 10, 2011 at 4:10 PM, a motorist on the A16 coming from Paris and near Froissy noticed in the stormy sky "numerous very powerful lights above the horizon." All of these lights seemed to come from a triangular shape rising rapidly into the black clouds before reappearing and then quickly disappearing due north.
