On May 23, 2010 at around 10:45 p.m., several people observed the movements of a bright orange object in the sky. It moved horizontally, then hovered, before moving off vertically and disappearing at the horizon. No sound was heard during the observation, which lasted 5 minutes. No other testimony was collected about this phenomenon. These people were probably witness to the passage of a Thai lantern.
