A beam of light in Aisne, France
On Sunday, November 15, 2009, around 9 p.m., two people out for a walk are intrigued by the unusual movements of a bluish light beam coming from the sky. The beam sweeps across the sky, waving and oscillating, giving the impression that it is following the couple. The phenomenon lasts 35 minutes, and no sound comes from the beam.
This case is to be compared with that of Jeantes (02) of November 14, 2009, which also reports an observation on November 15 at 8:55 p.m., and for which the Hirson Gendarmerie brigade identified the observed phenomenon as a nightclub spotlight.
