Blue light in Aisne, France

On November 14 and 15, 2009, witnesses made successive observations of a blue light moving across the sky. The first observation on November 14 was covered by the media, and other people came forward reporting the same type of observation in towns further north, at Buironfosse (02) and Beaurieux (59). The witnesses describe a blue light in the sky, round in shape, moving slowly from right to left across the sky (although they disagree on the distance and origin of the phenomenon). A third observation on November 21 was identified by the gendarmes as a spotlight from one of the region's nightclubs. This plausible hypothesis probably explains the observations of November 14 and 15, 2009.
