An open record of things people cannot explain

An account in Seine-et-Marne, France

During the nights of July 14 and 15, 1983, several witnesses observed in the sky an object giving off a strong white luminosity and moving slowly from West to East. Despite a long observation, the precise shape and size of the object could not be described. The characteristics of the different observations as well as the astronomical analysis of the sky on those evenings support the hypothesis of an astronomical observation: the witnesses probably observed Venus, which was particularly visible in that sector on those dates.
