A low hum in Indre-et-Loire, France
On July 10, 1993 at around 1 a.m., a witness observed a light with no precise shape rotating clockwise with a slight humming sound. The intrigued witness went to get her friend, who also observed the phenomenon, and who in turn went to wake her mother, who was also able to observe it. Two other witnesses were found by the gendarmes but did not wish to comment. The phenomenon appeared repeatedly about every 20 minutes until 2:30 a.m., at which time the witnesses decided to go to bed. The phenomenon was not formally identified, but it is likely that it was the observation of the laser beam from a nightclub about 10 km away, given the cloud layer present that day and the line of sight.
