Pulsing light in Pas-de-Calais, France
This case, formerly named PARCQ (62) 1981, was recently re-examined (see the document Investigation Notes).
On August 11, 1981, around 1 a.m., a farmer driving his tractor in a field observed balls of red and white color blinking in the sky. First stationary, these balls moved slowly from North to South. Panicked, the witness went home, where he continued to see these lights. The gendarmerie investigation did not find any other witnesses or traces that could explain this phenomenon.
This case has little substance (single witness, brief testimony collected several days after the facts, no field investigation), and the description of the observed UAP is imprecise. The sincerity and credibility of the witness have never been questioned.
The described phenomenon shares some common characteristics (observation duration, shape, color) with the Moon, possibly hidden by clouds.
