Pulsing light in UK, Woodbridge

Vibration, sounded like a tractor idling or large machine. Louder indoors than out. Could still be heard when put ear plugs in. Only lasted 3 days. I live in a rural location, 8 miles from Ipswich. Power lines nearby which I hear when humid but it was a different pulsating sound. My 11 year old daughter couldn't hear it, nor my neighbours.
