Rumbling in UK, London SW9 0LJ; also Australia

constant low unevenly pulsing rumble, like a generator nearby It is less audible in the city during daytimes when there is plenty of ambient noise to drown it out; but if I find a quiet spot it is always present. At night it keeps me awake, and the trauma to my nervous system is acute and distressing. It makes me want to self harm. Earplugs take the edge off the pain but don't eliminate it. Thank you very much for looking into this.

Low rumbling hum. Like machinery off in the distance. I can "feel-hear" it. So when you ask if it's in both ears, that's almost difficult to answer. It's just "there" ... kind of always
