Low hum that sometimes varies. Sounds like a distant digger working, or ppumping station,or a transformer...........etc It tends to vary between two tones up and down with one dominant. I was sure it was a pumping station or the telephone exchange next door but whenever I go out to look and listen a night I cant hear it. Must be some sort of tinnitus??? I also still hear it with the headphones on..... very low tho,80-85hz so can that travel and penetrate walls and headphones?
