A low, interrupted deep drone. Almost feels as if it vibrates through the floor. I do appreciate this information is out there as it is a lonely experience suffering from tinnitus and now this new hum that only a few are talking about. Perhaps ad to questions, what help was offered when these hums have been reported to the likes of council and doctors? My local council didn't want to know and put it down to construction noise which there is an acceptable level of noise allowed according to them. I worry that if it is a man made noise from machinery or other that it is affecting our animals/marine life and wild life also.
What they reported
First noticed: 2019
Pitch: The closest sound I used was the Triangle and I stopped lowering it at 65H. It wasn't exactly what I hear as it was too clear or crisp and a higher pitch than the booming drone I experience.
Loudest: During the night
Where: Indoors
Symptoms: Ear discomfort (pain, fullness, throbbing), Headache, Insomnia, Sense of vibration, Anxiety, It aggravates my ever present tinnitus. A completely different sound and I can tell this noise is coming from an external source not from my head or ears.
Changes with weather: I am not sure.
What stood out: a low hum
