low frequency droning noise I've just started hearing the hum about a month ago, but as time goes on it seems to have gotten louder. Could be im just more focused on it now but it takes louder backround noises to mask the sound. Also I have very good hearing and I am able to distinguish that the hum im hearing is coming from a distance. For instance I can distinguish other backround noises are in between myself and the hum. It seems to be coming from above in all directions almost like the sound is in the sky in all directions. It constantly pulsates back and forth from 45 to 55 or 60 hertz. At least that's the closest representation using tone generator.
What they reported
First noticed: 2020
Pitch: Hard to match exactly but i would have to say its between 45 and 60 hertz sine wave. And the hum i hear pulsates back and forth between those frequencies.
Loudest: Equal night and day
Where: Indoors
Symptoms: when i first starting hearing the noise it was bothersome and irritating because i could not figure out what it is and nobody else can hear it. But now thru research and knowing this is a real thing with many people hearing it, it no longer bothers me. Now im just intrigued by it.
Changes with weather: not that I have noticed
What stood out: a low hum
