A low hum in Davis, California

Low frequency Hum! I tried to record it on the noise app. But it doesnt pick up low frequency noise. I can hear it now and the local traffic noise does not affect it. The free way i 80 has no sound barriers as it runs straight through Davis. It is around one mile from this house. The house is stucco with dual glazed windows. Some are very old some are new. The sound is less obvious in the newer window rooms.
