A low hum in England, Manchester

very low frequency hum. I had some instances of falling asleep with headphones on with low frequency white noise playing because my new neighbour was harrassing me, and I'd also been listenening to vocal discussions on my smartphone in a pub that was so loud I had to turn the volume beyond the warning level (both of these occurred at least a year before the tinnitus and hum started. I also had a loud computer fan and it was on most of the time for a year or so. i finally, i went to a club and stood next to a speaker for a couple of hours about one month before my tinnitus started.
