A low hum in Leigh, England WN7 5RP

Very low frequency noise, very quiet. Sounds like it is coming from all around me and closing in when I focus on it. The Hum sounded much louder when I walked into my bathroom. The wall mostly consists of tiles and paint, whereas the bedroom I initially heard it from only had paint walls.
