Like a base guitar that's too close to the speaker ,a very low rumble I seem to get strong vibrations, (not good vibrations!) before the hum gets going after being off. These can last for a few days, when sleep is impossible. I feel like I'm being microwaved , and it's a relief when the hum comes because they stop.
